Homework is posted on Monday for the entire week. Although word wall homework is only given once a week, please spend some extra time to practice the word wall words as needed. I suggest practicing the words each night.

Reading with your child and to your child are two of the most important things you can do to foster your child’s reading development. First graders are not too old to have you read to them. Let your first grader read to you (TLC) and then read to them. Picture books and easy chapter books are great to share aloud. Have fun reading together!
